Depending the angle and lighting in the room this particular piece of Maple displays a new unique feature within the grain. Heritages "D" Neck profile has a good amount of shoulder but is a relatively thin neck. The rosewood fingerboard is pretty dark but has some slight hints of red striping up and down the fingerboard. As an early childhood educator, I use this book often for story time for children 3-5 years old. The book was recommended to our Museum by the Smithsonian Institution Early Enrichment Center.
