Stourbridge Antique Lead Glass DecanterThis is a mid to late 19th century, hand blown, lead glass decanter with a compressed ovoid body. Cut with two bands of oval facets, the narrow tapering neck cut with hexagonal facets, with a bubble facetted stopper. Silver plated bottle tag. Circa 1860 to 1880. In excellent, antique condition. First thing to note is this is a soap, not a cleansing bar, so it WILL dry you out if you use it too much. but the smell is irresistible, and it definitely conditions your skin well. I wouldn't say it has a slimy texture like advertised, but it is still really pleasant and the foam is so rich with herbal aromas. Definitely not a good value for the money, but I consider this like a luxury splurge soap bar for when I want to treat my senses rather than a daily driver cleanser bar.
