Cometic uses stainless steel for increased strength, its ability to rebound and resist corrosion. The outer layers of the gasket are embossed and coated on both sides with a Viton rubber material designed to meet the demands of a variety of harsh sealing environments, load conditions and surface finishes. I really wanted these jeans to fit because I loved the style and the heavier weight with just a touch of stretch. Size 14 should have fit but was huge. High waist is an understatement; the waist hit between my bellybutton and my boobs. The whole body area - waist, butt, crotch was huge. Sad because I liked the look of the legs...just the right amount of width and the length hitting the top of my Chelsea boots (26" exactly, I measured) plus the wide cuff. I'm not sure if going down a size or two will change how high the waist goes.
