It has a beautiful 1 piece back of highly flamed maple with matching ribs and scroll. The top is made of narrow grained spruce and it has been finished with a hand applied red brown spirit varnish. This model is based on a Stradivari pattern so the instrument offers a bold, powerful, and balanced tone

The usual box stores wanted around $150-$200 for a New and or Refurbished starter. The Ezexpreze 17749 was such a great deal and It bolted up nicely to my 1999 TJ with the 4.0 4x4! Its a great replacement, I've had it for about half a year but it starts with ease. I'll definitely get me another one as a backup at this price point!
