Mexican duo Zeny and Reyna design this 'mystery of nature' in the traditional style of alebrije handicrafts. The swordfish features a vibrant, hand painted finish. The alebrije tradition started with Mexico City papier mache artisan Pedro Linares (1906 1992). When he was 30, he fell into a coma due to serious illness. Great for use atop the bedside table!
Very nice! I bought this for my father for his birthday, and he really liked the gift! It's a nice little place for him to keep all of his essentials together on the bedside table. No more losing his watch, keys, wallet, etc. or knocking them off the table!
