You might as well just buy cotton rope. We should have been more careful in reading the "fine print." The description does say, "For gentlemanly dogs, it is more durable and can be used with light chewing," and "it's not indestructible dog toy." Our dog can play with one of the duck/platypus plush toys ("best seller") for months until the fabric wears through. Our expectation of more than 3 minutes from package opening to the floor being covered with stuffing was too high.

Worth it for small dogs

Quality is good and durable. I have a dachshund and he hasn’t ripped the squeaker out yet! The squeak is a higher pitch noise. My dog loves it. It’s nice it doubles as a tug of rope toy and a stuffy. It matched description and pictures. With all that being said if you have a bigger dog it probably won’t last long.
