The inside of the shell is then hand painted in stripey nautical colours (white and blues) with porcelain paint. The shells (including ring) measure approximately 14mm x 15mm. Each pair of earrings is carefully handmade, so will vary slightly from each other in length and structure. No two pairs of earrings are the same.
