There are 2 screw hole mounting points on each hook. Steps: 1. Place the hooks into the grooves on the NES. 2. (Optional) Put a small command strip on each of the hooks so it would be easier to level and screw in. 3. Drill a hole in the wall with a 3 32 bit. 4. Finally use 2 of the #6 x 1" screws pictured above to screw the hooks to the wall. Screws and command strip

Its solid & sturdy. It does exactly what it’s supposed to. You have the option to fill it up with water or sand , I choose water. It holds the umbrella in place.
