The top panel unscrews from the ring shank and has a fold down bail which can be used to wear the component as a pendant. The pinwheel design is set with 2 carats of natural diamonds. Great palazzo pants! I was looking for something to wear in Florida to a graduation but did not want to be too hot. These pants are versatile and very flattering. Photos in listing depict a LINEN pant - in the close up's you can clearly see a linen/cotton like material. To my surprise, these pants are a silky, polyester material. There is NO stretch - I am glad I purchased a size larger than what I consider my " roomy " size. These style is also depicted as a beige and black color pattern, they are more of a light mauve color out of the packaging. Took a steamer to them to get the wrinkles out. Suitable for tall girls ( I am 5'9 ) and wearing them with 3 in wedge. They are cute - dressy enough for a business casual office setting or a date night. Probably not the best for hot humid weather as they are not breathable.
