COMP Cams Valve Locks 7 Deg W/5.5MM SteMost people believe that the tang inside a valve lock holds the retainer and valve spring in place while the engine is running, but this isn't the case. The cross section of material in the tang is not strong enough to withstand open spring loads of 1000 lbs. or more. The sole purpose of the tang is to temporarily locate the lock, retainer and spring relative to the valve until the taper of the retainer can nest around the outside surface of the lock.

Second handle too high up on leash

Slip lead length provides your reactive dog with too much range to lunge. The second handle is great but it is too high up on the leash. If the slip lead length was shorter and the second handle was lower, this product would be awesome.

Won’t stay in place

While the leash was nicely made, the lead would not stay in place. The slide to hold the “O” ring in place kept sliding there for the leash would loosen.
