Setup is straightforward and it works immediately with most conferencing and streaming software. The built-in microphones are usable for casual calls and pick up voices clearly in a quiet room. One downside is that performance in low-light conditions isn’t great. Without good lighting, the image can become grainy and lose detail, and the autofocus may hunt a bit. I honestly wasn’t expecting much from this little webcam, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how good it looks once plugged in. The video quality is clear enough for Zoom calls, online classes, or everyday use, and setup was very simple. My laptop camera quality is terrible, so this was a noticeable upgrade right away. I also like that it clips securely onto the top of the screen and doesn’t feel bulky. The picture looked smoother and brighter than I expected for a budget-friendly webcam. I love how it folds up and is very adjustable. Overall, this ended up being a great little camera for the price and works well for basic streaming, meetings, and video chats.
