I had a great time reading this outloud to my husband by the electric fireplace while Beth and her husband treked across France and Spain in all kinds of weather and discomfort. The journey was captivating, lovely, and hilarious all at the same time. As Beth mentions, it was not a "walk in the park" and there were many times I was glad to NOT be in her shoes, even though I envied her escaping the daily technilogical rat race we all struggle with.
