Jowey WinnieOf all the Jowey dahlias I grew this year, Winnie might be my favorite. I had just a single tuber, so I took several cuttings and hoped for the best. They ended up planted all over my yard, and thrived! I often found myself thinking, "Oo, who is THAT!?" Jowey Winnie of course, just hanging out, throwing armfuls of sumptuous pink blooms, with just a hint of peach on the interior.

These shelves feel and look very flimsy. They’re hollow, and while the description says they’re made of wood, they feel thinner and less strong than particle board. The brackets are sturdy, and the instructions are clear. They’re easy to install. But, at least for the 12” deep shelves, the bracket poles are shorter than the depth of the shelves, so the shelves sag at the front. Pretty disappointing.
