AmpelosaurusAmpelosaurus is a genus of sauropod dinosaur that lived during the Late Cretaceous period, approximately 71 to 66 million years ago. Ampelosaurus was an herbivore, feeding on a variety of plants, including ferns, cycads, and conifers. Its teeth were adapted for browsing and grinding tough plant material. It likely lived in herds and used its long neck to reach food at the tops of trees.
