I believe this was something to to with laws introduced under the third Reich for complex reasons to prevent Jewish shops from putting other shops out of business through deep discounts. The color is pretty true to the image, it comes in great packaging and honestly because it’s so nice I still haven’t used mine yet… it’s legit just sitting on my desk in its box and I plan on getting 2 more as gifts for friends. (However I have to test the whisk first and I kinda wish it came with a matcha canister)
