Not to firm and not to soft...a very nice medium! They have a cool feeling when you lay on them. These pillows are great for those who sleep on their back AND side sleepers. No feathers have been poking out. My significant other LOVES these pillows. Been sleeping great and feel like I made a great decision getting these. Great value, great materials and great quality. I highly suggest trying these out if you're looking to replace your pillows.

I let the pillows sit for about 48 hours before I started using them, but I assume you don't have to wait that long. Overall, I am very happy with my first online pillow purchase with Serta!
